A recent article in the paper talked of how some counties in Indiana are finding ways to reduce the property tax burden by, among other ways, increasing county income taxes. This brought to mind one of our positions:
...............................................................................................
2. We believe in generating needed government
revenue by
increasing the economic activity in the county through soliciting &
promoting manufacturing
and retail activity and not by reducing the revenue need to generate this activity by lowering
the spendable amount one has to fuel this income producing machine by increasing their tax burden.
...............................................................................................
One thing is for sure, an entity can only charge/tax you on something if they lay claim/own it. The day they started taxing the citizen on his property is the day they took ownership over it.
This go's for your wages also.
A sales/consumption tax is the only fair way we can live in freedom of the government confiscating our possessions.
If you have more, you pay more. If you have less, you pay less.

As socialism slowly over throws the United States more and more
enemies are now among us.(see Eastern European history ) No question they who do
the below are enemies of the United States ( the enemy within ) The only question is, what do we do with them? You
can fined
them, Just watch as .....
- They will use our constitution against us and even organize groups to do so. i.e. ACLU
- They will battle against our efforts at time of war for our enemies are their allies.
- They will divide our nation into victim groups to be controlled by stripping our people of personal responsibility.
- They will enslave us with hand-outs to destroy our self respect all in the name of the old and the children.(see "Don't Feed the Bears " )
- They will destroy the morals of our young.
- They will use slogans like " for the children" for emotional effect.
- They will battle Christianity that conflicts with it.
- They
will falsely accuse others of what they are doing themselves to deflect
their guilt. (Preemptive Deception) i.e: "He's a liar " . And if caught
people will say they are both liar's and accept it as normal.
-
They will enslave the weak with handouts to eliminate personal responsibility thus requiring dependency surrender to the victim group.
- They will call themselves a democracy.
- They will buy our freedoms through taxation.
- They will be so believable when they fabricate and lie in the face of contrary evidence.
- YOUR PAST FAMILY VETERANS WILL ROLL IN THEIR GRAVES AT YOUR IDLENESS.
Taxation will be the main gage of success in the over throw of a free society.

For the past several year we have sat through the debate on I69 and how
to spend the federal highway funds on new and exiting interstate
highway that some governors name will be on. After listening to our all
our governors future plans on this monument one must come to the
conclusion that it has more to do with something thats wanted more than
needed. This highway is needed by US companies shipping jobs out and
illegal aliens in. This means it fails the taxpayer test.
One can
conclude, after seeing the exposed bridge conditions and inspection
results, that these funds should be used to make safe the
infrastructure now in place and not build future monuments to their
administrations. After our hazardous bridges are really safe then look
beyond. This is what the councils "public safety" money should be spent
on instead of new real estate that we can get by without. Which also
fails the taxpayers test. ! Discuss this article on the forums. (1 posts)

The only way our representatives will know how we think on taxes and how we want them to vote is if we tell
them. Since the results of all the polls on this are emailed to our
elected representitves they will always here their constituents. Discuss this article on the forums. (0 posts)

In this county the primary election is the most important. One can
encourage someone who has respect for private property rights and ones
private family income. When a politician considers these two items a
source of revenue thats when you replace them. When our representatives
reject incentives for a "Manards" that would have increase sales/income/property tax
revenue but overwhelming go for our paycheck, you know its time to
remove them from office.
In a county that almost appoints it candidates by the controlling party
this must happen at the primary level. This will require four
necessary activities. 1. Pressures on the party leaders. 2. Recruitment
of qualified candidates. 3.Campaigning for the right and against the
wrong candidate. 4. Activity at the polls.
Its up to use the Concerned Citizens of Morgan County.
