Liberty verses healthcare PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 23 July 2009
Today, we are faced with one of the greatest threats to our liberties we have ever seen. National, or socialized healthcare.

This reform process that President Obama is trying to get passed in Congress is the single biggest threat to our liberty at this time because if passed, it would take away our right to choose. At stake is our ight to choose which doctor we want or even our ability to get a second opinion if we so desire. At risk is our ability to choose which hospital we choose. At risk is our ability to decide what if any treatments we want.

If Congress passes this reform bill, gone will be our voice in our own treatment. Gone will be our choice of which insurance company or even what type of coverage we have. Let alone the increased cost to everyone of us through our taxes.

You may hear those that say it will be easier for someone to get healthcare and cheaper too. These are lies. The proponents of this policy are pushing cost. Let's forget about the costs for now and concentrate on our right to choose who and what we want. That is the bigger issue.

I ask you this, do you want someone else deciding for you what treatment you can have, when you can have it, where you can have it, or even deciding that you can't have it? The choice is yours and yours alone. Let your Congressman and Senators know your choice. My advice, tell them no on government run healthcare.

avatar Do you know wut. I'm against the socialist take over of private business like
Insurance companies and hospitals and Doctors. Their will be such a shortage of
Doctors they will force veterinarians to work at the government medical
compounds and that leaves me without a Vet to take care of me.

avatar I'm with you Danny. I also was listening to a lady on Fox who read both of the
two competing bills from congress and she was pointing out some things. Like,
when you reach 60 you are required to have a sit down with a government medical
rep every five years to discuss how to die with dignity among other things that
would scare your socks off. It's going to be a battle. Even if it's stopped now
they will keep on coming. It's all about power over people. That's why a Liberal
is a Liberal, it's an evil emotional illness. This is exactly the same power the
Democrats held over their slaves on their plantations. (for those who didn't
know the south was democrat back then and the newly freed slaves where
Republican) It wasn't as much about cheap labor then as it was power over
humans.
