The reason why the United States doesn't have a government controlled health care system is simple. Because there is no heath care system for the government to control.

A system would imply some central linkage of operations of some sort thus providing a controllable unitary scheme or plan. Nope, not here.

We have personal contracts between citizens and their company's to provide goods and perform services of which we choose if we wish to pay for or not.

In our great country we have what no other nation on earth has. Something our founding fathers were very careful to create and some thing that would set apart forever this country from all the others.

The very root principle that our forefathers fought and died for and still our hero's are fighting and dieing for today. The One thing that we have that others don't. The first and qualifying thing that defines America.

 The Freedom of Personal Independence. Personal freedom of government.  Personal
God given rights to control our own lives as we see fit without any interference from any controlling force. We, as Americans, by careful design, are a Independent  people.  We are NOT a people who are governed by a Government with authority over us but rather a nation of independent people who have authority over the Government we control.  Our  Rights are given by God not a  Government. That's what makes us unique from all other countries. The most insulting remark you can make against this country is to wish we did things like another country.

1. We have the right to LIFE.  ( 1. the sum of the distinguishing phenomena of organisms, esp. metabolism, growth, reproduction, and adaptation to environment. 2. the animate existence or period of animate existence of an individual: to risk one's life; a short life and a merry one. )

2. We have the right of  LIBERTY   ( 1. Freedom from arbitrary or despotic government or control. 2. freedom from external or foreign rule; independence, Freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, hampering conditions, etc.; power or right of doing, thinking, speaking, etc., according to choice.  )

3. We have the right to THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS  (  Pursuit : 1. an effort to secure or attain; quest: the pursuit of happiness.) ( Happiness : 1. the quality or state of being happy. 2. good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy.

All given by our Maker and thanks to the document our founders who felt it necessary to protect us from our government ( the constitution) secured the Blessings of Liberty. " We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

No folks, it has nothing to do with land. It's the Ideology of The Freedom of Personal Independence.  So just living on this land doesn't make you a real American. If you don't subscribe to it's purpose of freedoms you could only be considered a wannabe with undeserving privileges.

The oldest and most deceitful methods of taking over the freedoms of people ( see German History 1920 ) is to take ownership of what belongs to the people by a power craving politician using the term " OURS" when referring to the object of take over. This lays claim of control and ownership by the government. This happened in Germany in the twenties with socializing their health care. The on slot of control over the lives of the Germans health all in the name of cost, first resulted in the extermination of the mentally ill and those who were handicapped and eventually millions of Jew.  All this took place only after  years of demonizing each as detrimental to the Germany's financial well being. The debate isn't about government run heath care. That would only give that ludicrous deceptive concept recognition as something worthy to consider. Those trying to take over our freedoms want to debate because it only give credit to the idea.  No, the only intelligent debate possible is how to protect, defend and  preserve America and who are Americans and who are Americans enemies. Thats all.
