When people start throwing meaningless words like "AFFORDABLE" around in news articles and debates, it is usually trying to use emotional thoughts to attack your thinking mind and are afraid to tell you what they really support because they fear you will oppose it. Words like "AFFORDABLE" are totally meaningless of course since every person on Earth has a different definition of what it means. That is why people that want fool you use it. To  vote for "AFFORDABLE" is stupid and irresponsible.

In context :

I knew a young family with a new baby once who was living on only the minimum wage earnings of the husband and considered " family hospitalization insurance" soo AFFORDABLE they spent 25% of the families income to buy it.

They didn't find things like a phone AFFORDABLE so the did without and used a pay phone and the next door neighbors for emergencies.

They didn't find things like eating out AFFORDABLE so they did without it and eat wonderfully cooked meal the wife prepared from her frugal grocery list.

They didn't find things like a car AFFORDABLE so they did without it and took the bus to work and the store.

They didn't find things like going out to the movies AFFORDABLE so they did without and stayed home in their rented half double a played game together. ( sometimes strip rummy )

They didn't find things like new furniture AFFORDABLE so they did without and used hand me downs with throw covers on them.

They didn't find things like booze, pot and cigs AFFORDABLE so they did without them and considered that preventable heath care.

There wasn't things like cell phones , Internet service, cable TV, game machines but if there were they wouldn't have found them AFFORDABLE and wouldn't have had them.

They were a very responsible young family and it's a good thing they were because the young child had to use the hospital at two years old and that soo AFFORDABLE insurance paid for it , allowing them

to keep saving for a down payment on their first house.

Now sit down and get your calculator out. Are you paying 25% of your families take home pay for your health insurance ?

You see folks the word AFFORDABLE is defined only by the responsibility level and the value system of the person using it. That's all. There is no other meaning possible. The definition of AFFORDABLE is : VALUABLE.

So when ever you see or hear words like AFFORDABLE or fairness used remember the words VALUE SYSTEM. The health insurance in this country is AFFORDABLE. It has not gone up as a percentage of the families income and thats a fact. It may not be politically correct but it is truthfully correct.

What has sky rocketed is the level of "acceptable irresponsibility ". Even those who seem like they are responsible by todays standards are not responsible and like most other Americans today who having such a screwed up value system will chime right in and cry about having to be responsible to pay for their health insurance. I as an AMERICAN, am ashame of them for their very problem has given rise to our enemies who are now in the act of over throwing the greatest country on earth. Once the shinning city on the hill that people from every nation flocked to for freedom, opportunity and yes Health care is now becoming the dark valley of a Weak Moral-less group of Dependents ( WMD's) willing to sell the very nation the fathers and grandfathers died for just to be able to keep their worthless STUFF.

 

P.S Oh yah, the last time I talked to someone who said they couldn't AFFORD insurance for their family I couldn't help but notice that they had , 2 car payments, Satellite TV, A Sony play station, fancy computer with cable Internet, each had a pack a day cigarette habit that was slowly killing their two boys in the house they didn't love enough to get married for and refused to work at Walmart part time for added income. Surprise, they also voted for obama. Look around folks, This has become the norm in many neighborhoods across the nation. I will not show respect to them and would not allow my children or grandchildren around theirs.
